JONES CENTER INTRODUCES SPRING 2009 ENTREPRENEURIAL EDUCATION FORUMS

The Jones Center will host an entrepreneurship networking reception on Thursday, January 15, 2009 (6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) to introduce its Spring 2009 half-day educational sessions for entrepreneurs who own a business or want to acquire a company.

The Jones Center will offer these sessions as part of its two non-credit educational forums:
Entrepreneurial Leadership Forum – This forum helps company founders, presidents and CEOs grow their ventures and handle the everyday issues company leaders face.
Entrepreneurship Through Business Acquisition Forum – This forum takes entrepreneurs through the steps needed to properly value and acquire a business.

Carnegie Mellon’s Donald H. Jones Center for Entrepreneurship offers local entrepreneurs an opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills in a real-world setting with other experienced entrepreneurs. Chris Allison (former CEO of Tollgrade Communications, Inc.) and Chris Cynkar (president of Swisshelm Park Investors, LLC) will briefly speak (roughly 15 minutes) about the forums at 7:00, and the rest of the reception will be open for networking.

Please contact John DiRicco at 412-268-7758 or diricco@andrew.cmu.edu to RSVP for this reception, or visit the Entrepreneurial Education Program  page for more information about the forums.
