The MSCF program is housed in the Tepper School of Business which provides the MSCF students with the many resources of Tepper’s "Career Opportunities Center” – a large staff dedicated not only to bringing recruiters and students together, but also to helping students decide upon various aspects of their finance careers, craft good resumes, and develop valuable interviewing and networking skills.

Graduates from MSCF work exclusively in the financial engineering industry. Careers vary but usually revolve around derivatives pricing and trading, risk management, research, structured products, analytics software development and quantitative portfolio management. MSCF’s recruiter relations are broad and deep, and our students enjoy a strong employment record.

            86% of the class of 2007 (graduating Dec. '06) were employed by graduation, 
            95% within three months of graduation.

            94% of the class of 2008 (graduating Dec. '07) were employed by graduation, 
            97% within three months of graduation.

            77% of the class of 2009 (graduating Dec. '08) were employed by graduation, 
            87% within three months of graduation.
